Ma Half Birthday!

So, it's been quite a while since I wrote in this thing...but I've been so busy! Believe me, I have had tons of midterms and assignments, and Psychology is killing me. I am usually so good at science, but I've decided that psychology is NOT for me. It's very interesting, but incomprehensible. Oh well. I have finally met my match.

Well, tomorrow is my half birthday. WOOT! I am so excited. You make it halfway through the year and then you just NEED a "me holiday." I even bought myself a present. I gave it to my friend to wrap, but she doesn't know what it is yet 'cause it was in a box when I gave it to her. So she's kinda more excited about it than I am in the sense that she'll finally get to find out what's inside. But I'm really excited to finally get to have the present, instead of it just sitting on the shelf.

Well, I really need to go study. It's been non-stop for a couple of weeks now. It'll probably last about another week and then Thanksgiving break will come to save me. After that, any activity that I do will be pointing to that last great day of...finals. Ugh! Then I will be completely stressed out and there will be no redemption for me until Christmas break. Thank goodness for Christmas.

Oh, I learned an interesting fact. When people write X-mas, they aren't trying to X out Christ's name. It's a Greek letter which is an abbreviation for Χριστος, meaning Christ. And "mas" means festival, so it's just a shorter way of writing Christmas. Also, some people think X is a reference to the cross. Cool, huh?

Anyway, I really do need to get some work done. I think I might be skipping class tonight in order to go to a soccer game. And then there's a football game after that, so I'll have to make up for tonight's lack of studying right now. Ta ta!
